Are you at the beginning of your career and want to work with technology for real? Here you will learn about instruments from the ground up and become the person who ensures that everything is correctly registered and updated.About the role

Instrumentation & Calibration is part of Tools & Instruments and is responsible for providing, calibrating, and quality-assuring advanced measuring instruments used in the production of turbines. The department works in one of Sweden's most qualified laboratories and functions as an internal service center with high technical competence. Here, structured processes are combined with practical technical work, and you will be part of an operation where quality, precision, and technical development are in focus.

In this role, you will be the person who helps keep track of the instruments and ensures that all information is correctly entered into the systems. You will work with instruments used in the production of turbines – those that measure electricity, temperature, pressure, humidity, and vibrations. The group “owns” the instruments and rents them out to various departments, and you will be the one ensuring that the registration works smoothly and that everything is up to date.

You will read technical specifications, interpret drawings, and input the correct data when new instruments are purchased or returned from loan. Currently, there is no clear structure for how this should be done, so you will help create order and build up working methods that function in the long term. You will also support other departments when they need help registering instruments, and you will gradually learn how different instruments work, are calibrated, and prepared.

This is a role where you can grow into the tasks. You do not need to know everything from the start – the most important thing is that you are technically curious, enjoy understanding how things work, and want to contribute to creating structure in an area that truly needs it. To thrive in this role, we see that you are a positive, collaborative, and communicative person who enjoys driving your own work forward. We are looking for someone who is…

  • Technically educated, for example in electrical engineering, electrical construction, or another relevant technical education
  • Ability to read and understand technical specifications and drawings
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form
  • Strong technical interest and willingness to learn new instruments and systems.
Meritorious
  • Experience with SAP, PLM, or similar systems.
  • Previous experience from Siemens or a similar industrial environment.
